This is the CORRECT way to walk your dog.Notice that the dogs are walking at the side of the person walking them. The dog is NOT out in front. In the dog world, heirachy is very simple. If the dog is leading, the dog is the leader. That is not the relationship we want from our dogs. We want them to be followers. Therefore, you must be the leader. This relationship is established with the "working walk". You are the leader, the dog is the follower.
Notice too how relaxed the person holding the leash is. The leash is slack. The dog is not pulling. It takes some practice, and a few minutes, and the right tools, but everyone can get this good behavior from their dog.
